His interest in real estate led him to become a licensed real estate broker in OR and then ultimately in FL, where he specialized in real property sales, loan modifications, and loss mitigation negotiations, including short sales and deeds-in-lieu. During the foreclosure crisis, where FL was essentially “ground zero”, Mr. Seigel created and presented a real estate seminar, “Loss Mitigation & Foreclosure Defense: Proper Practices.”  This seminar was designed to assist both the homeowners actively facing foreclosure and their foreclosure defense legal counsel.

Mr. Seigel’s law degree then led him into private practice as Sarasota attorney and then to Ft. Myers working with a multi-state civil law firm representing banks, mortgage servicers and the federal agencies which often underwrite and/or insure such mortgages.  There Mr. Seigel managed all aspects of the foreclosure process and was responsible for drafting complaints, case management, attending all hearings, conferences, mediations, depositions and highly contested trials.

Seigel, P.A. is a private practice, assisting clients with all aspects of family law including marital dissolution, wills & trusts, child support and parenting plan modifications; real estate law including real estate transactions, landlord/tenant issues, and foreclosure defense; and all other civil litigation issues.
